ECOMATES Final Conference – Power-to-X for a Sustainable Future (Reykjavík, 6–10 July 2026)

NanoItaly is pleased to highlight the ECOMATES Final Conference – Power-to-X for a Sustainable Future, taking place 6-10 July 2026 at the University of Iceland (Reykjavík, Iceland). Hosted by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network ECOMATES, the conference will bring together researchers, industry representatives, and stakeholders to discuss the latest advances in Power-to-X technologies, including catalyst discovery, operando characterization, device and reactor design, process integration, and sustainability assessment.

The program will feature presentations by the ECOMATES Doctoral Candidates, invited talks by leading international scientists, an industrial session, and a stakeholder roundtable, alongside oral and poster sessions open to all participants.

Call for Contributions: 
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to): CO₂ electroreduction, Power-to-Hydrogen, Power-to-Liquids, Power-to-Nitrogen compounds, and related aspects of materials, electrochemical devices, system design, as well as techno-economic and life-cycle analyses.

Participation:
free of charge; limited to 100 participants to encourage lively discussion and networking.

Abstract deadline:
31 January 2026 (oral or poster).

NanoItaly Association at LAB Italia 2025

NanoItaly Association will take part in the second edition of LAB Italia, which will be held on 17–18 June 2025 at the NH Milano Congress Centre. The event is positioned as a key national meeting point for professionals in the laboratory sector, focusing on technological innovation and the digital transformation of laboratories.

Organised by Step Exhibition, in collaboration with LabWorld.it, LAB Italia aims to foster exchange among professionals, companies, research institutions and public bodies through a format that combines an exhibition area, a scientific conference, and networking opportunities.

As part of the scientific programme, NanoItaly Association will contribute with a dedicated session on nanotechnologies and their applications in laboratory environments. The session will explore recent developments in nanomedicine, advanced materials, and the integration of nanotechnologies with digital tools.
Participation in the event is free upon registration and offers a valuable opportunity to explore future directions in research and scientific instrumentation, while promoting collaboration between public and private actors in the field of innovation.
