The Italian Nanomedicine Platform (INP) lands at NanoInnovation 2026 with an affiliated forum covering the full nanomedicine pipeline - from targeting and delivery to tech transfer, regulatory affairs, and AI-driven precision medicine. Four sessions, one day and a dedicated poster space.
NanoItaly plays a leading role in fostering innovation by organizing and coordinating National Technological Platforms that connect research, industry, and policymakers. These platforms are designed to create synergies, strengthen knowledge sharing, and accelerate cutting-edge solutions across sectors. A key achievement is the Italian Nanomedicine Platform (INP), which aims to position Italy at the forefront of nanotechnology in healthcare by advancing diagnostics, therapeutics, and preventive medicine. Aligned with the Nanomedicine European Technology Platform, the INP promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among universities, research centers, and industry to address unmet medical needs. It focuses on preclinical evaluation, clinical integration, and regulatory frameworks to support a clear pathway from research to clinical and industrial applications. Through its working groups, it also promotes education, training, and technology transfer, helping develop the next generation of specialists. Overall, NanoItaly’s national platforms reinforce its role in driving technological progress with tangible societal and economic impact in health, sustainability, and beyond.
