Subscriptions to the Italian Nanomedicine Platform (INP) are now open through the dedicated online form. The first subscription deadline has been extended to February 9th, 2026: colleagues subscription by this date will be included among the INP founding members, helping shape the initial Working Groups (WGs) and the start-up phase of the Platform. Subscription is independent from the Kick-off Meeting in Rome (16–18 February 2026) and is not conditional on attending the event. Subscription is required to join the WGs and to receive updates and official communications on Platform activities, opportunities, and outputs. Subscription will reopen after the kick-off phase to ensure the broadest possible participation and inclusiveness.

The Italian Nanomedicine Platform (INP) will hold its first national meeting in Rome (Sapienza University of Rome), 16–18 February 2026. The three-day convention will bring together academia, industry, clinical networks and institutions, as well as early-career researchers, to discuss priorities and practical actions for advancing clinical adoption of nanomedicine, with rare diseases and oncology as reference areas. The meeting is organized by NanoItaly Association – APS, in collaboration with ETPN (European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine) and MetabERN (European Reference Network for Hereditary Metabolic Disorders), with the involvement of Brains4Brain and the National Center for mRNA Therapies (CN3). The programme will also support the launch of INP activities and Working Groups, the consolidation of shared priorities across stakeholders, and the preparation of the first Italian White Paper on Nanomedicine.
NanoItaly plays a leading role in fostering innovation by organizing and coordinating National Technological Platforms that connect research, industry, and policymakers. These platforms are designed to create synergies, strengthen knowledge sharing, and accelerate cutting-edge solutions across sectors. A key achievement is the Italian Nanomedicine Platform (INP), which aims to position Italy at the forefront of nanotechnology in healthcare by advancing diagnostics, therapeutics, and preventive medicine. Aligned with the Nanomedicine European Technology Platform, the INP promotes interdisciplinary collaboration among universities, research centers, and industry to address unmet medical needs. It focuses on preclinical evaluation, clinical integration, and regulatory frameworks to support a clear pathway from research to clinical and industrial applications. Through its working groups, it also promotes education, training, and technology transfer, helping develop the next generation of specialists. Overall, NanoItaly’s national platforms reinforce its role in driving technological progress with tangible societal and economic impact in health, sustainability, and beyond.
